Award Amount: $32,000 total, or $8,000 per year

Eligibility Requirements: This award is exclusive to incoming freshmen entering in the fall. To be considered for the Alumni Scholarship, you must apply for admission to the South Carolina Honors College and complete an application for general admission. 

Awardees must attend the Columbia campus of the University of South Carolina.

Additional Information: As long as awardees maintain a 3.0 GPA and are enrolled full time, the scholarship will automatically renew. Out-of-state awardees may receive a reduction in tuition. This scholarship program is highly competitive – there are a limited number of these scholarships awarded. 

This scholarship is selected and processed by Admissions and the South Carolina Honors College, but funded by the Alumni Association.
