Two UofSC alumni part of Pulitzer-winning journalism teams
Win McNamee, Josh Dawsey recognized for coverage of Jan. 6 attack
University of South Carolina alumni Win McNamee of Getty Images and Josh Dawsey of The Washington Post are both part of teams that were awarded Pulitzer Prizes in journalism on May 9.
McNamee was named in the category of Breaking News Photography for “comprehensive and consistently riveting photos of the attack on the U.S. Capitol.”
Dawsey is part of the team that covered the Jan. 6 attack for The Washington Post, which was awarded the Pulitzer in the category of Public Service.
