Born to Teach: SCHC public school educators find rewards despite difficulties

We are honored to have five public educators stay in their profession throughout the pandemic and push through and continuously put their students’ needs first. Sarah Schumacher Gams, Patrick Kelly, Davontae Singleton, Donna Gilbert Teuber and David Berry graduated from the South Carolina Honors College. They shared what they see in their jobs, what they think needs to change and why they will remain in their profession.
