Although I live in Virginia, I may be like many USC grads who wake up every morning “With Carolina in My Mind” as I start the day scanning The State newspaper online, then go to any and all USC related websites typically trying to get the latest on the Gamecock sports teams. My oldest daughter was born in Columbia, grew up in Richmond, but was apparently exposed to USC enough to place the University on the top of her list of colleges; she graduated from Carolina in 2007. My youngest son will be a freshman at USC in the Fall (2016). I love to pass on whatever exciting news I hear about USC. I have received much more from Carolina than I could ever give – great education, lifelong friends and a lifetime of wonderful memories that continue to build. Every year we add to our Gamecock gear. Recently we built an outdoor pavilion in our backyard that my wife named “The Roost”. I am extremely proud of The University of South Carolina and honored to be a part of the Alumni Center.”
