ABOUT THE CLUB
Welcome to the Philadelphia Gamecocks! This is a place for alumni, friends, family and fans to get together and network, cheer on our sports teams, give back to the community and have general camaraderie. Our club represents the greater Philadelphia region including but not limited to the western PA suburbs, the eastern NJ suburbs, Delaware and Northeastern Maryland. The Philadelphia Gamecocks are proud to support alumni and friends of USC in the metro area, parts of South Jersey, Delaware, and Northeastern Maryland. With almost 3,000 alumni covering our engagement area, we invite you to stay connected through social activities, professional development, and of course, cheering our teams at watch parties. Chair: Katherine Coker, BS ‘13
About your Club Chair: Katherine Coker is a 2013 graduate of the University of South Carolina and Hartsville native. She earned a BS in Marketing from the Darla Moore School Business. Following her time at USC, she earned her MA in Communications from Radford University. At USC, she was an active member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha service sorority and worked in summer conference housing for Residential Life. Katherine currently is a higher education professional at Villanova University.
Vice Chair: Ashlee Roberts, ‘10
About your Vice Chair: Ashlee Roberts, PhD, is a 2010 graduate of the Wardlaw School of Education, earning an MEd from the Higher Education/Student Affairs program. She attended USC after studying at the University of Memphis for undergrad, and completed her formal education with a PhD from Saint Louis University. During her time at USC, she served as a graduate assistant in the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs and was involved in the Black Graduate Student Association and Student Personnel Association. Ashlee transplanted to New Jersey in 2020 and is a higher education administrator at Stockton University.

Cocks for Socks: Socktober drive for Bethesda Project, October 1st – 31st
Competition for a Cause: October 1 – October 31
We are joining forces with the Philadelphia Clemson Alumni Club in a competition benefitting the Bethesda Project, a local shelter for the unhoused community. Socks are one of the least donated but most needed items. Each club will be collecting socks throughout the duration of October and the winner will be announced at a joint Palmetto Bowl watch party.
Drop off your socks during business hours at our drop box at The Junior League of Philadelphia Thrift Shop, 25 W Lancaster Ave, Ardmore, PA 19003 or submit the form for pickup/drop off requests for Center City and New Jersey.
