ABOUT THE CLUB
The USC Alumni Association exists to bring all Gamecocks and their families together. We host a multitude of different events through the year, with many young alumni enjoying our viewing parties for all Gamecock football games as well as occasional basketball. The Washington DC Gamecocks represent all alumni and Gamecock fans in the DMV (primarily Washington DC and Northern Virginia).

Darla Moore School of Business ‘13
Jamie has served on the Washington DC Gamecock Alumni Board since returning to the area in mid 2017 – and took on the role of chairman in 2019. Outside of his role of the board, Jamie enjoys spending time with his wife Ashley and their two dogs, Madden and Olive. You can often find all of them at his parents vineyard located in Round Hill Virginia.

Brooke has served on the Washington DC Gamecock Alumni Board for the last year as the Communications Chair. She has been living in the DC area since graduating from the SJMC in 2019. Outside of her role on the board, she works as a Financial Analyst at Booz Allen, and in her free time can be found with her friends, family, and dog Charlie taking advantage of all that the DMV has to offer.

Joe has served on the Washington DC Gamecocks Alumni Board since 2022. As a lover of all things Gamecocks, Joe is a DMSB DC Hub Leader & a member of the DMSB Young Alumni Board. Outside of his role on the board, Joe can be found traveling, on the golf course, or taking advantage of all the DMV has to offer.

Melissa joined the Washington DC Gamecocks Alumni Board in the Spring of 2022. In her role, she helps to organize DC watch parties for gamecock sporting events and assists with various other events throughout the year. Outside of her role on the board, Melissa enjoys spending time outdoors and hanging with her family and friends!

Carrie has been a member on the Washington DC Gamecocks Alumni Board since 2022. As a Columbia native, she has been a gamecock since birth. She works in the nations capitol on behalf of farm and ranch families across the country. Carrie enjoys college sports, reading, and spending time with her two dogs, Harmon & Miller.

Thomas was proudly appointed to the Washington DC Gamecocks Alumni Board in the spring of 2022. Thomas is a native of Anderson, South Carolina and has been in Washington for almost 7 years working for the United States House of Representatives. Thomas is an avid Gamecock sports fan and enjoys playing golf and traveling in his free time. Thomas and his wife, Meg reside in the Hill East neighborhood, with their dachshund, Dooley.
