Foxworth to lead USC Alumni Association

Tiffany Foxworth has been named permanent Chief Executive Officer of the University of South Carolina Alumni Association, effective July 1, 2023.

Foxworth, who joined the Alumni Association in 2021, previously served as the Chief Experience Officer and interim CEO. Before joining the Association, she spent five years in USC’s Office of Communications and Public Affairs serving in key leadership roles. In addition to her time with the University, she has spent much of her career working throughout the state of South Carolina, leading, and managing projects within a variety of industries including economic development, commercial real estate, and residential construction.

“I’m extremely honored that the Alumni Association’s Board of Governors selected me for this role,” Foxworth said. “I’m excited about the opportunity to engage Gamecocks across the nation and the globe to help them foster an even stronger connection with their alma mater.”

Foxworth, a native of Greenville, SC, was selected following a nationwide search, said USC Alumni Association President Elizabeth Scott Moïse. “Tiffany is the ideal fit for this role. It is not just her proven dedication and leadership, but also her deep-rooted love for the University. Her experience, vision, and devotion to our alma mater make us confident that the Association will continue to thrive and reach new heights under her stewardship,” Moïse said. 

The core focus of the USC Alumni Association is to connect students and alumni to advance their careers, their passions, and their University of South Carolina. Serving a global network of more than 340,000 Gamecock alumni worldwide, the Association provides scholarships benefitting hundreds of students each year, offers unique member benefits, and supports the nearly 50 active alumni clubs and affinity councils across the country.
